Diverse Perspectives in Plenary Sessions of the Philippine Creative Tourism Congress  

The plenary sessions at the congress showcased the diverse facets of Filipino culture and creativity. From Jerry Cabalce’s inspiring narrative on championing local coffee culture to Catherine Taleon’s immersive exploration of Iloilo’s chocolate-making industry, each session offered unique insights. Connie Atijon’s presentation on the art of crafting Hablon and Renel S. Lavilla’s journey into Panubok Embroidery added layers of tradition and artistry. Reena Gamboa’s session highlighted tourists’ active role in the Slow Food Movement, shaping the country’s gastronomic treasures.

Clang Garcia’s unveiling of the Philippines’ potential in Gastronomy Tourism and Kathryn Fanlo’s exploration of wearable art added creativity to the congress. Then there was Jojo Vito’s “Masskara Mask Making” activity, symbolizing Bacolod’s welcoming culture and showcasing the transformative power of art, culture, and community engagement.
