High design- high value products is what the Association of Negros Producers would always campaign for its members in order to stay on top in their businesses. To support this campaign , ANP created the “Bulawan Award” 21 years ago to recognize outstanding products by ANP member, and to encourage ingenuity, creativity and commitment in terms of product innovation, packaging and the development of new market-driven products that are competitive in both domestic and international markets.
The 21st Bulawan Award is chaired by Director Christina Marie Gaston.

To be tagged as Bulawan’s Award winner, juried percentage grade should at least reach the minimum of 90%. There are no winners for both the Health and Wellness and Delicacies.
Bulawan’s 2nd day event is for the Non-Food Sector, the Fashion and Jewelry, Gifts and Houseware, Furniture and Furnishings. The winning designs reflect that unique sensibility and the quality of work should exceed the expectation of the jurors’ base on Visual Impact, Design Excellence, Craftsmanship and Usage of Bamboo as Focus Material. The winners were chosen for their original designs which exhibited the level of creativity consistent with the use of Bamboo and Philippine made materials. The collection are truly functional pieces of art and will appeal to the eco-minded and also trendsetters who recognizes these useful necessities can also be a sought after accessories.
